Area Organizations Participating in World AIDS Day Events
World AIDS Day is an annual day where millions gather around the world to remember those who have died from HIV/AIDS-related illnesses, as well as those who continue to live with the disease. One- in four of all new HIV infections in the United States occur in young people between the ages of 13 and 24. Half of these infections among youth accure in African American males. Millions of people around the globe still battle this disease, including thousands in the tri-state area.
