A Whitesville man was arrested Sunday night after an alleged incident in Daviess County.
     According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, 53 year old Dennis A Russellburg was arrested after he was found to have allegedly fired a shotgun at 44 year old Kelly Roberts and a passenger in a vehicle while they were on Joe Haynes Road.  Prior to law enforcement’s arrival, Russellburg also reportedly had held a knife to Roberts’ throat.
     No one was injured in the incident.
     Russellburg was charged with two counts of first degree wanton endangerment and first degree criminal mischief.
