A child has died after a drowning accident in Daviess County.
          According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department the tragedy occurred Sunday afternoon at Diamond Lake Resort.
          The call to dispatch said CPR was being administered as EMS and the Fire Department were enroute.
          The child, whose name was not released in the report, was transported to Owensboro medical health system where he was later pronounced dead.
