Crittenden County Inmate Walked Away Over Weekend



**UPDATED**

            An inmate, who walked away from the Crittenden County jail, has been recaptured.
            Jason Scott Arkenberg of Louisville walked away over the weekend and was last seen at the State Highway Garage Sunday morning.
            Just after 3:30pm, Arkenberg was apprehended by the Marion Police Department and the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department.
            He now has been charged with second degree escape, two counts of third degree burglary, third degree criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking under five hundred dollars.
 

            Authorities are looking for an escapee from the Crittenden County Jail.
            According to Kentucky State Police, Jason Scott Arkenberg of Louisville had walked away from the jail Sunday morning.
            He was last seen about 9:00am at the State Highway Garage.
            He was wearing white jail clothing with “trustee” on it but may have obtained camouflage overalls.  He is a white mail, five foot six, one hundred ninety pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
            He was serving a sentence for arson, fleeing or evading police and receiving stolen property.
