Daviess County Man Arrested after Traffic Stop Wednesday



            A traffic stop in Daviess County Wednesday night led to the arrest of an Owensboro man.
            According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, 45 year old Jerry Ross was pulled over for allegedly speeding on Berwyn Avenue.  It was found that Ross’ license was suspended and he had an active warrant for his arrest.
            Also found inside the vehicle was a substance that tested positive for meth, along with items used to manufacture meth.
            A consent to search Ross’ residence on Belmont Drive turned up additional items used to traffic a controlled substance.
            Ross was arrested and lodged at the Daviess County Jail.
