Four Owensboro Juveniles Charged with Torture of Kitten

Owensboro Police have now official charged four male juveniles, ranging in age from nine to twelve years old, in the case of a tortured kitten.
The investigation began on Wednesday night in the 700 block of Jed Place where police found dead five week old kitten that appeared to be tortured.
An update to the story we first brought you this (Saturday) morning now includes the details of the torture. Police say the kitten had allegedly been kicked and thrown around by its tail, spray painted, and then thrown into a swimming pool. The juveniles then were alleged to have lit the kitten on fire and threw it by its tail up onto a roof, causing the kitten to die.
Each of the four juveniles has been charged with one count each of torture of a cat with serious physical injury or death, which is a Class D Felony.
