Greenville Police Officer One of Several Injured in Crash Wednesday
A Greenville Police officer was one of several injured in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday. At noon, Kentucky State Police reports two Greenville officers were on Highway 189 on a traffic stop. Two vehicles approached the scene including one, driven by 62 year old Elizabeth Gentry of Central City. Reports say her vehicle spun around and struck another, driven by Nathan Berry, 41, of Dunmor. That sent Gentry’s vehicle into one of the two Greenville police cruisers then into Chief Darren Harvey, who was in between the two cruisers. Berry’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on its side. Harvey did not seek medical treatment. Berry, his wife, 21 year old wife Trulie, and their two month old daughter Elizabeth, were all transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
