Henderson County Man Arrested on Probation, Theft Charges

                The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and Probation and Parole made a Thursday arrest of a man who also may have been linked to robberies in the area.
            Authorities went to 431 North Ingram Street and found 23 year old William T “Bubba” Payne as he was wanted for parole violations.
            Inside the residence deputies found a loaded Cobra .380 semi-automatic postal and ammunition. Payne was a person of interest in some home invasion robberies recently and he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.
            The gun was found to have been stolen from one home burglary in Henderson.
            Payne was arrested on the parole violations, as well as possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property.
            He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
