A hand grenade was found and destroyed at the Waste Connections Landfill in White Plains Friday.
            According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, what was determined to be an old M1 grenade was found at about 2:00pm.
            The E O D squad from Fort Campbell Army Base was called to assist, and, after they determined to be live, it was destroyed on site.
