Owensboro Police has turned over a death investigation from early this (Thursday) morning over to Spencer County Indiana authorities.
            At 3:30am police went to Owensboro Medical Health System where a patient there was brought in with a gun shout wound.  The man, whose name was not released in the report, later died from his injuries.
            An initial investigation led police to believe the shooting took place in Spencer County, where Indiana State Police was contacted and have taken over the investigation.
