Indiana Woman Arrested in Owensboro on Forged Prescption Charges
A Rockport, Indiana woman has been arrested on charges she passed forged prescription at Owensboro pharmacies.
Owensboro Police arrested 29 year old Krista Evans on four counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, false state or forgery, which are Class D felonies.
Police say their investigation revealed Evans called in prescriptions to area pharmacies over a three week period, claiming to be from a doctor’s office.
Wednesday, Evans was allegedly observed picking up medication from Nation’s Medicine and CVS.
Five bill bottles allegedly containing hydrocodone were located.
