KSP Post 2, 16 Eash Hosting Citizen Police Academy



Madisonville, KY.) – The Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville is now accepting applications for the 2012 Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy.  The 10-week academy is slated to begin on October 17th and conclude on December 19th.  Students will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., where they will learn about the many facets of the KSP including patrol, criminal investigations, and drug investigations.  Students will also get to take part in simulated traffic stops and evidence collection.The academy will be held at the Madisonville Community College.  Applications may be obtained at the KSP Post 2 or by contacting Post 2 at 270-676-3313.

is welcome to apply.  There is no cost to attend.  All applicants will be subject to a background check.  Once completed, applications should be mailed to:

The Kentucky State Police Post 16 - Henderson is now accepting applications for the 2012 Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy.  The 11-week academy is slated to begin on September 27, 2012. Students will meet Thursdays from 6:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. where they will learn about the many facets of the Kentucky State Police including patrol, criminal investigations, and drug investigations.  Students will also get to take part in simulated traffic stops and investigations. 

The academy will be held at Kentucky Wesleyan College Campus in Owensboro.  Applications can be obtained at the Kentucky State Police Post 16, kentuckystatepolice.org or by contacting TFC. Corey King at 270-826-3312 or email corey.king@ky.gov

Anyone 18 years of age with no criminal history is welcome to apply.   There is no cost to attend.  All applicants will be subject to a background check. (There are limited openings available).
