The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to CLOSE KY 293 in western CALDWELL County on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
 
This closure is to allow the replacement of a failed cross drain near KY 293 mile point 1.5, near the Caldwell-Lyon County Line.  This closure point is on KY 293 between Caldwell Chapel Road and Martin Road.
 
The roadway at this site is expected to close about 8:00 a.m., CDT, and remain closed until about 3:30 p.m.  Local access will be maintained on either side of the closure point.
 
There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may choose to detour via KY 818 and KY 1495.
