Madisonville Police responded to Joe Leasure and Sons on North Madison Avenue just after 7:30am on a possible fight in progress.
45 year old Morris Jones was alleged to have assaulted 59 year old Douglas Leasure and used a pipe during the confrontation.
Leasure was taken by private vehicle to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment of his injuries.
Jones was arrested and lodged at the Hopkins County Jail on an assault charge.
