Hopkinsville Police are releasing more information on the apparent murder, suicide that was discovered Saturday morning.
            Their preliminary investigation revealed that 68 year old Tommie L Summers shot and killed his 67 year old wife Linda and his son, 38 year old Brian Summers at their residence at 209 Hillaire Drive, before shooting himself in the head.
            Officers arrived at the residence at about 9:45am Saturday to find the three, shortly after a caller reported shots fired at the residence.
            Autopsies were performed Sunday at the Medical Examiner’s office in Madisonville.
