One Dies after Being Struck by Car in McLean County Early Sunday
On person has died after being struck by a vehicle in McLean County early this (Sunday) morning. Kentucky State Police tells us 35 year old Joshua Dame of Island was travelling on US 431, just south of Highway 25. 35 year old James Pickard of Calhoun was walking southbound on US 431 when he apparently stepped out in front of Dame and was struck by the vehicle. Pickard was reportedly wearing all black at the time of the collision. KSP reports alcohol is being investigated as the possible cause of the collision for Pickard. The investigation of the 12:30am fatality is still ongoing.
