One Injured, Another Arrested after Monday Altercation in Nortonville
A verbal altercation in Nortonville Monday night led to one man stabbed and another arrested for attempted murder. According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, a 9-1-1 hang up call sent deputies to 31 South Chestnut Street where they found 34 year old Bradley Furgerson who had been stabbed and cut several times with a knife. A warrant for the arrest of 48 year old Gerald Frederick, Jr. was issued and served this (Tuesday) morning. Frederick was lodged in the HopkinsCounty Jail on the attempted murder charge.
