The Owensboro Police Department is excited to announce the 2nd annual “Pedal With The Police” event scheduled to be held between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 22nd, 2012.

Children are invited to bring their parents and ride alongside members of the Owensboro Police Department as they ride the Greenbelt! This five mile bicycle ride will start and end at U.S. Bank, 2800 Tamarack Road (located in the Mid- America Airpark).

A free lunch will be provided after the ride, along with give-a-ways and a bicycle rodeo for the kids. Bring the family for miles of smiles!

The first 150 participants will receive a free bicycle helmet to “pedal with the police.” Bicycle helmets are required.
