The Kentucky Transportation plans to close the levee section of KY 281/Island Ford Road in northern Hopkins County starting Monday, October 29, 2012.

This closure of KY 281 is to allow use of a long reach track hoe for ongoing drainage improvements and levee repairs.

KY 281 will be closed to traffic during daylight hours from KY 1033 extending northward to KY 138.  Work in this area is expected to last through about Friday, November 2nd.
