All elementary school children in Hopkins County will be getting a free breakfast and lunch next school year.
            Marci Cox, director of food services, spoke to the Hopkins County Board of Education last night and pitched the new program that is federally funded by the U.S.D.A. A la carte items may still be purchased.
            As part of the program, households will be required to fill out an income form.  Also included in the free meal program will be West Hopkins Middle School and the Adolescent Day Treatment School.
            At the end of last night’s meeting the board went into closed session to discuss proposed litigation involving the new vocational school.
