CSX Railroad plans to close KY 3059/Wells Road in southern Hopkins County on Monday & Tuesday, June 4 & 5, 2012.
 
The closure at KY 3059 mile point 3.774 is to allow CSX to rework a rail crossing.  This on KY 3059/Wells Road is just off US 41/Hopkinsville Road north of Nortonville.
 
The roadway will close at approximately 7:00 a.m., CDT, Monday.   It is expected to reopen to normal traffic flow sometime Tuesday afternoon.
 
Motorists may detour via KY 2272/Crossroads Church Road.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on KY 454 in HOPKINS County starting Monday, June 4, 2012.

The lane restriction at KY 454 mile point 1.040 is to allow placement of a bridge deck overlay on the I-69/Western Kentucky Parkway Overpass at that site.

Motorists should be alert for alternating traffic flow controlled by an automated signal around the clock in this work zone.

Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

M&M Services is the prime contractor on this $193,749 highway improvement project.

This project is expected to take about 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt resurfacing along US 41 and KY 336 in Hopkins County starting Monday, June 4, 2022.

This asphalt resurfacing project runs along KY 336 from KY 2171 at mile point 1.388 to Littlepage Lane at mile point 2.315, a distance of just under a mile.

Asphalt paving runs along US 41 from mile point 10.503 at the north end of the CSX railroad bridge just north of Burton Lane at mile point 12.340, a distance of 1.8 miles.

Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers in the work zone.  Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Work along these sections is expected to take about 2 Weeks to complete.
