HENDERSON OFFICER INJURED IN WEDNESDAY NIGHT TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

A Henderson City Police officer was injured Tuesday night after his cruiser was hit by another car.

State Police says 22 year old Travis L. Chester of Henderson was on Richardson Street, attempting to cross Green Street when he pulled into the path of officer Eugene Zell, 39, of Madisonville.

Zell was transported to the Henderson County Emergency Room for his injuries. Chester was not hurt in the 10:02pm accident.
