Kentucky State Police have arrested two people following the investigation into the death of a Muhlenberg County man.
            Greenville Police notified KSP Monday night after 65 year old Floyd Slaton was brought to Muhlenberg Community Hospital by his wife and step-son.  Slaton was reported dead on arrival.
            An autopsy in Louisville Tuesday revealed Slaton’s death was from multiple, blunt force trauma to the head.
            Slaton’s wife, 64 year old Deanna Slaton and her son, 39 year old Joel Allen allegedly told authorities Slaton had fallen down a flight of stairs causing severe injuries to his head.
            A search warrant Wednesday night at their State Route 1473 residence led to the arrests of both.
            Allen was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence
            Slaton was charged with first degree hindering prosecution and apprehension as well as tempering with physical evidence.
            Both are lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
