Owensboro Police launched an investigation in February of possible sex abuse of a male juvenile that occurred in 1978. The suspect, 72 year old Louis F Piskula, was a Priest while serving at Blessed Mother Church.
The case was forwarded to the Daviess County Grand Jury where Piskula was indicted on first degree sodomy and first degree sexual abuse of a victim under twelve years old.
Piskula was arrested this (Friday) morning and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
