The Evansville IceMen announced today (Friday) they will be affiliated with a team in the NHL.
            That team is the Columbus Blue Jackets who play in the National Hockey League’s Central Division of the Western Conference.
            The agreement also aligns them with the Triple-A, American Hockey League’s Springfield Falcons in Massachusetts.
            In May, the IceMen announced their move from the Central Hockey League to the ECHL which begins their season with 23 teams in October. 
The IceMen will once again play at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville.
