A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic for a moving work zone along KY 81 in northern McLean County starting Tuesday, September 11, 2012.
 
The moving work zone is to allow joint sealing work along KY 81 starting at the McLean-Daviess County Line and working southward through Calhoun to the Green River Bridge.
 
A joint sealing crew plans to work along this section each weekday from approximately 7:00 a.m., CDT, to approximately 4:30 p.m.   The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
 
Motorists should be alert for this moving work zone with alternating traffic flow controlled by flaggers.  Caution is required due to equipment and personnel on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
