Two people were injured after a crash just north of Hanson this (Thursday) morning.
            According to Kentucky State Police, 18 year old Kellie Lander was on Hamilton Drive.  As she pulled out onto US 41, she pulled into the path of a tractor trailer, driven by 46 year old Michael Ball of Manitou.  Lander’s car rotated clockwise and struck the northbound guardrail.  Ball’s rig crossed the southbound lane striking the southbound guardrail then came to rest against the northbound guardrail.
            Lander had to be extricated from her vehicle then was transported to Regional Medical Center for her injuries in the 6:40am collision.
            Ball sustained possible injuries but refused transport to the hospital.
