According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, a 16 year old was one of several juveniles that have been involved in vehicle thefts in Earlington and Madisonville.
The teens allegedly entered a residence in Earlington and took numerous items including Christmas presents. They took the victims vehicle but later got it stuck in the mud.
They left that one, then allegedly broke into a building on Legion Drive belonging to Smiley Excavation and took another vehicle.
One of the same juveniles was thought to have burglarized a residence in October, taking items and a motorcycle.
The sixteen year old has been charged with numerous crimes and lodged in the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
