A call of an assault at a residence in Daviess County early this (Tuesday) morning led to a series of arrests.
                The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 8000 block of Ward Road in Whitesville where reports of persons threating others with an alleged shotgun and rifle were made.
                Deputies located a victim who said 21 year old Chandler Curry and 23 year old James Hinton punched, kicked and stomped on him.  He was transported to Owensboro Health to be treated.
                Deputies say the events were occurring in the midst of an alleged party where several were drinking beer and smoking marijuana.
                The home owner, 20 year old Allen Burnett, was arrested for possession of marijuana, while armed.
                A Juvenile was cited and released to his mother for possession of alcohol by a minor.
                The original assault resulted in the arrests of Curry and Hinton.
