            The name of the woman who died in a traffic crash in Daviess County Thursday night has been released.
            According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, 27 year old Lacy E Brinton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place at the 65 mile marker on the Natcher Parkway, just before 6:00pm.
            Brinton struck a substance on the road which caused her vehicle to lose control, crossed the median and struck another vehicle, driven by 35 year old Joshua Whitehead of Owensboro.

            One person has died following a one vehicle crash in Daviess County Thursday night.
            The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office reports a woman was driving on the Natcher parkway and struck a spilled substance over the road causing her to lose control.  It crossed the median and was struck in the driver’s side door by a vehicle, driven by 35 year old Joshua Whitehead of Owensboro.
            The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
