Lane Restrictions on WKP near Greenville for Rock Slide Removal

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 11, 2013) –  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict eastbound traffic to one lane along the Wendell Ford-Western Kentucky Parkway in MUHLENBERG County starting Tuesday, March 12, 3013.

This eastbound lane restriction on the WK Parkway near the 51 mile marker is to allow material to be removed from a rock slide along the right-of-way.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone.  Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.  Motorists should be alert for trucks hauling material away from this site.

Work in this area is expected to take a couple of days to complete.
