Madisonville's Gallery Hop is Saturday, April 27

MADISONVILLE, KY. –  Madisonville’s Gallery Hop returns Saturday, April 27 with opportunities for the public to view and purchase art, listen to a variety of live music, eat at one of the city’s eclectic restaurants, or sample fine regional wines.
From 4-8 p.m. art will be on display at several downtown locations. Original works for sale will include oil and watercolor paintings, fiber pieces, fine jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, art photography, glass, and more.
Galleries will be located at the Train Depot at 38 W. Arch Street; Black Dog Fiber Studio, 11 N. Main; Barbie Hunt Gallery, 37 S. Main St.; Thomas Antiques, 51 S. Main St.; Artcycle Gallery and Big City Coffee Shop, 23 Sugg St.; and the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce, 15 E. Center. Additionally, two downtown businesses, Amanda’s on Main, 117 S. Main, and Clements Jewelers, 36 S. Main, will be open. To help visitors find the art displays, retailers, and restaurants they’re looking for, brochures featuring maps of the downtown area will be available in each gallery.
The city’s downtown restaurants will offer special menus, which will be listed in the brochure. Wine tastings will be offered by Purple Toad Winery of Paducah, Ruby Moon Winery of Princeton and Eddy Grove Winery of Princeton.
The Gallery Hop is sponsored by the Downtown Turnaround Partnership, in association with the Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission and the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce.
