Hopkins County Board of Education Selects New Superintendent

The process to find the next Hopkins County School superintendent ended Friday as the Hopkins County Board of Education concluded their search by hiring from within.
Linda Zellich will take over the new position on July 1.
The selection committee received fourteen applications, which included Zellich, who has been the district’s deputy superintendent for the past four years and previously served as assistant superintendent.
Zellich told the Board of Education, at their Friday called meeting, of possible new initiatives she would like to see implemented in the near future.
