Former Kentucky Governor Spoke Thursday at Local Economic Development Meeting



          FORMER GOVERNOR MARTHA LAYNE COLLINS AND OTHER STATE OFFICIALS WERE IN MADISONVILLE TODAY AT THE MADISONVILLE-HOPKINS COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICE.

          THE PROGRAM TODAY WAS ABOUT STATE RESOUORCES AVAILABLE TO COMPANIES WANTING TO EXPORT THEIR PRODUCT TO OTHER COUNTRIES. 

          COLLINS IS THE AMBASSADOR AT LARGE FOR THE KENTUCKY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND AN INTERNATIONAL TRADE AMBASSADOR. 

          KENT WAIDE OF RUBY CONCRETE AND PRESIDENT OF THE MADISONVILLE AREA MANUFACTURER’S ASSOCIATION SPOKE TO THE GROUP ABOUT A RECENT TRIP HE TOOK TO CANADA.
