Arrest Made in Friday Bank Robbery in Owensboro

            An Owensboro man has been charged with a bank robbery that took place Friday afternoon.
            At 2:15pm Owensboro Police responded to US Bank on Carter Road where it was reported a white man entered the bank, pulled a handgun and fired one round before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.
            No injuries were reported.
            About an hour later 28 year old Seth C Hooks was found in a minivan on the lot of Strehl’s marathon gas station and taken into custody.
            Hooks was charged with first degree robbery, attempted murder, ten counts of first degree wanton endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
            He is lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
