Accidental Shooting Leaves Ohio County Man Injured Tuesday
An Ohio County man was flown to Evansville this (Tuesday) morning with what is described as a non-life threatening injury after an accidental shooting. According to Kentucky State Police, 57 year old Arthur Wayne Wildon was at his residence on Keown Road in Fordsville when he stated he heard noise at around 3:00am which he thought was a coyote attacking a chicken coop. In an effort to protect his chickens, he reportedly rushed outside and accidentally discharged his pistol into his left forearm. KSP reports no other injuries in the incident.
