Sebree Man Faces Murder Charges after Tuesday Night Incident

            A Sebree man is facing a list of charges after an incident with law enforcement in Webster County Tuesday night.
            A complaint of shots fired into a residence in Clay led the Clay Police Department, Webster County Sheriff’s office and Kentucky State Police to the scene, where the perpetrator, 61 year old Tommy R Branson allegedly returned to the residence and, according to KSP, struck a deputy with his vehicle and fired additional shots into the residence.
            A vehicle pursuit led to the eventual arrest of Branson on Highway 132 near Dixon.
            The Webster County deputy was treated and released at Baptist Health Madisonville.
            Branson was charged with four counts of attempted murder, one count of attempted murder of a police officer, along with one count each of first degree assault,  first degree wanton endangerment, first degree criminal mischief, tampering with physical evidence and fleeing/evading police.
