Hopkins County School Board Sets Last Day for Classes



     THE HOPKINS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MET IN SPECIAL SESSION TODAY AFTER HEARING FROM FRANKFORT ON RULES FOR SNOW DAYS THIS YEAR.  THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES FOR STUDENTS IN HOPKINS COUNTY WILL NOW BE MAY 31ST

     THE BOARD ALSO TODAY APPROVED AN 8.5 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT WITH PEYRONNIN CONSTRUCTION FOR THE NEW CAREER AND TECHNICAL SCHOOL.  THAT CONSTRUCTION IS EXPECTED TO GET STARTED IN JUNE AND TAKE ABOUT 15 MONTHS.
